Saturday, December 3, 2011 - 11:00 - 18:00
Location:

Male violence against women exists today as much as it did in 1989, the year Marc Lepine walked into L’ecole Polytechnique in Montréal and killed 14 women studying to become engineers.

Join the collective of Vancouver Rape Relief and Women's Shelter to talk, listen, and strategize women's resistance to rape, incest, prostitution, and wife battery.

This annual day of dialogue and action is free and open to the public on a first come, first served basis. The event is also wheelchair accessible.

Schedule of Events:
11:00 a.m. - Taking Up Space in a Man's World
12:30 p.m. - Put Rapists on Trial - Not Women
2:30 p.m.   - The State Betrayal of Battered Women
4:30 p.m.   -  Who is Missing from the Missing Women's Inquiry?
