Thank to all of you who have supported our work throughout the years.
Vancouver
Rape Relief and Women's Shelter is a non-profit, volunteer
based organization that has operated since 1973. We provide
transition housing for battered women and their children,
a 24-hour rape crisis line, a women's organizing centre and
public education about violence against women. We respond
to over 1400 new callers and shelter 120 women plus their
children each year.
Vancouver
Rape Relief and Women's Shelter relies on funding from a diverse
base in the community. We rely on volunteers for all of our
fundraising activities therefore 100% of your donation goes
directly into the operation of the transition house and crisis
line. |
Thank-you to all of you who joined us in Stanley Park on May 31st for the 2009 Walk for Rape Relief!
